Hidroten has developed a new solid ball covered with EPDM for the “BALL” non-return valves of 32, 40, 50, and 63 mm diameter.
This project was born in response to the concern of some customers about the noise that this type of valves produces when the flow rate inside exceeds 1.5 m / s.
With the improvement carried out in this project, it has been possible to reduce the sound pressure from more than 78 dB to a value lower than 47.1 dB.
