Consequently, we have established a comprehensive Quality and Environmental Policy that reflects our dedication to the continuous enhancement of our performance.

We identify as a responsible company, deeply committed to quality and efficiency in all our processes and products. Our primary goal is to build trust and satisfaction among our customers by consistently meeting their needs and expectations, while maintaining a steadfast respect for the environment and minimizing the environmental impact of our activities.

To achieve these objectives, the Management of Hidroten reaffirms its unwavering commitment and responsibility to the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an integrated management system that adheres to the highest quality and environmental standards.

This system is based on the UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2015 ("Quality Management Systems. Requirements") and UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2015 ("Environmental Management Systems. Requirements with guidance for use") standards. It is strategically focused on adopting actions aimed at:

Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Identifying and understanding customer needs and expectations, translating them into requirements that, when met, guarantee their satisfaction.
Minimizing Environmental Impact: Evaluating the environmental aspects arising from our current activities and any new activities, with the objective of preventing impacts or, when prevention is not feasible, minimizing their effects.
Fostering Environmental and Quality Awareness: Creating and maintaining awareness among all Hidroten S.A. personnel regarding the importance of complying with customer requirements, as well as the legal and regulatory frameworks affecting both quality and the environment.
Adhering to Environmental Legislation: Complying with all applicable current and future environmental legislation at the municipal, regional, national, and European levels, committing to continuous monitoring and updates.
Setting and Monitoring Objectives: Periodically establishing environmental and quality objectives and targets, and defining the necessary indicators to measure and track their progress.
Systematic Process Management: Identifying, understanding, and systematically managing all necessary processes and environmental aspects to achieve established objectives and meet customer requirements, as well as environmental and quality legal and regulatory frameworks.
Allocating Necessary Resources: Assigning the required human resources and technical means at all times to implement and improve processes, thereby ensuring the achievement of our objectives.
Responsible End-of-Life Management: Recognizing that once the useful life of Hidroten's manufactured products ends, they become inert and are not considered hazardous. These products should be managed by a competent and authorized handler for proper reprocessing.

Cultivate a positive environment: Foster the promotion of quality and respect for the environment, empowering full personnel participation in achieving organizational objectives and driving continuous improvement in quality and environmental management.

Provide necessary training: Equip all personnel with the required skills for their roles, promote environmental responsibility and proper waste management, and enhance understanding of the integrated quality and environmental management system.

Address customer dissatisfaction: Respond to all customer complaints and actively monitor satisfaction to align organizational objectives and goals with customer needs.

Systematically collect and analyze data: Gather and analyze necessary data (customer satisfaction, audit results, non-conforming products, complaints, supplier evaluations, environmental assessments, legal requirements, etc.) to determine the effectiveness of the integrated quality and environmental management system and implement appropriate continuous improvement actions.

Enhance supplier collaboration: Improve responsiveness to customers, optimize costs and resources, and promote environmental responsibility throughout the supply chain by strengthening collaboration with suppliers.

Reduce environmental impacts: Minimize environmental impacts from materials, processes, and facilities through waste minimization, emission reduction, and pollution prevention at technically and economically viable levels whenever possible.

REDUCED CONSUMPTION 2024

The responsible use of resources is integral to the company's environmental strategy.
Therefore, Hidroten S.A. wishes to communicate the reduction in consumption achieved in 2024 compared to the 2023 fiscal year.

Reduction in Electricity Consumption

The renewal of our machinery fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, coupled with the responsible energy usage by Hidroten personnel, has resulted in a 5% reduction compared to the 2023 fiscal year.

Reduction of Hazardous Waste

The innovative hazardous waste management system currently being implemented, along with the increased awareness shown by Hidroten personnel in the generation of this type of waste, has enabled a significant 28% reduction compared to the previous fiscal year of 2023.

Reduction of Non-Hazardous Waste

Hidroten's environmental awareness and commitment have led to a 3% reduction in non-hazardous waste in this fiscal year compared to 2023..
